Hello, my name is Shannon Husk(pronouns she and her), a registered clinical counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors # 16190 and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association #10002500. I have over twenty four years of counselling experience supporting individuals with addictions, trauma, symptoms of depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD and other mental health concerns. I have worked with people from various cultures and neurodivergence(I am neurodivergent myself). I am also 2SLGBTQIA+ and BIPOC informed. In addition, I have taken various Indigenous Canada and Indigenous Awareness courses to learn how to better support Indigenous, Metis and Inuit people. I would like to support you in creating better relationships, a more balanced life, and with overall stress management. I have experience supporting people with grief(including suicide) and loss, life transitions and career planning.
